A good start. The developing baby brain

From the moment a baby is born it is overwhelmed with new impressions. She sees a face for the first time, feels how hands pick her up and hears a language she doesn’t understand. For us it’s hard to grasp how a baby perceives the world. How does she see her environment? What does she understand of the things that happen around her? And what is the best environment for a baby to grow up in? In this lecture for adults Sabine Hunnius will share important and recent insights from neuroscientific research about the development of infants.
