Become a language hero and take part in research!

To carry out child language research we rely on help from hundreds of parents and children. If you would also like to help us by taking part in one of our projects, please sign up. In doing so, you’ll be making an important contribution to science and you’ll also find out more about the wonderful world of child language research. Thanks in advance!

Research on bilingualism
Is your child aged between 7 and 10 years old, and is s/he being raised bilingually with German, Greek or Turkish alongside Dutch?
Sign up for the 2in1 project.

Research into age and learning new languages
Have you always wanted to know why it is harder to learn a new language as you get older? Us too! Is your child 8 years or older, Dutch speaking (mother tongue) and NOT raised bilingually? Then sign up for our major Language Study. If you are younger than 30, you can also participate yourself!

Take part in research in the future
Are you pregnant or do you have a child between the ages of 0 to 6 years and do you live in Nijmegen (or nearby)?
Sign up at the Baby & Child Research Center.

Do you want to take part in research now?
Is your child between 10 and 18 months old? Then you can take part in our WeAct study. In this study we look at the environment children grow up in. If you want to take part you only have to fill in a questionnaire. You can do this easily via this link.

Are you older than 18 years and is Dutch your mother tongue, then you can sign up at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics and/or the Radboud University.
